Has anyone seen hibernating bees coming out of their underground homes lately? We have tiny mole hill-like earthworks on the east side of the lawn where bees have emerged from their over wintering. Every year I try to count them. Last year we had 54 and this year so far 67. I hope that means our garden is becoming a more wonderful place to live as time goes on & the bees feel at home and welcome here.
